Dear St. Andrew’s family and friends,
Four weeks ago we talked about “preparing the way” for the birth of our Lord. We are about to arrive in Bethlehem and again welcome him into our world and our lives. I don’t know where you are on this journey, but for me in these very unsettling times of Covid and the strong desire to return to “life as normal”, I am most drawn to the images of a simple birth, for an unlikely king, in a manger, so many years ago.
May the spirit and joys of this Christmas season fill your hearts with hope and love and may your personal journey to find your calling in this world be filled with great joy and the belief that the best is still to come.
Please join us in worship this weekend as we celebrate this most important birthday. Friday at 5:00 there will be amazing music coming from our choir loft, followed by our Christmas Eve worship at 5:30. On both Saturday and Sunday at 10:15 there will be morning prayer offered for your participation and reflections.
Sending much hope for a blessed Christmas to all.
