The Fellowship Ministry Group creates opportunities for the members of the parish to interact in ways that strengthen both their spiritual and social connections.
We plan and execute special events through the year to bring the congregation together in a social setting. These events are designed to celebrate our church family. Along with other fellowship gatherings, this ministry organizes the after-church coffee hours and plans a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper every year. We distributed a survey this past Fall asking what kind of fellowship events are of greatest interest to members of our parish. We have hosted an Eastern European dinner that included a demonstration of pierogi-making by Chris Skrobot, accompanied by polka music. We hope to have some kind of fellowship event at least once every quarter.
We would be delighted to have fellowship ideas from members of the parish, and helping hands are always welcome.
