This past Sunday was an historic service at Saint Andrew’s as we rededicated Hamilton Hall and our new Children's ministry space. Don and Laurie Hamilton and many of their family members were present as they were honored for their commitment to Saint Andrew's. Dave and Sue Murray were also honored for their long time commitment to Saint Andrew's and leadership in this renovation project. Other members of the Property and Renovation committees were thanked. The children of the parish led the service, and our new Children’s Minister, Kevin Johnston, preached.
Following the morning celebration and dedication of our children's ministry space, many of us met at Bob and Joanne Haymaker's for a Walk in the Woods! We enjoyed a short hike with a little fun stream and the quiet of the country.
Recently the children at St. Andrew's learned about Joseph and his coat of many colors. They took part in making their own tie-dye shirts of many colors and coloring sidewalk art of themselves.
Thank you to Mark and Deb Smith for hosting the annual St. Andrew's Pond Service. It was a wonderful day of prayer, food and fellowship - with some swimming on the side!
Thank you to the 4-H club sponsored by Gayle Hanson for their help with the Non-Food Pantry distribution in the month of May. They helped on Thursday to pack the bags and prepare and also came on Saturday for the distribution.
