St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church has welcomed the students in the DePauw Community Service program as partners in the work of the Putnam County Non-Food Pantry.
Students Sharon Maes, Courtney Crosby and Sandra Bertin helped out in late January. These students encouraged other DePauw students to join them in supporting the project. At the DePauw Community Service Fair, 23 students expressed interest in the program.

The Fillmore Elementary fifth grade collected non-food items for the Putnam County Non-Food Pantry hosted by St. Andrew’s Church. In lieu of doing a gift exchange in their classroom, the boys and girls in Mrs. McCammack’s class demonstrated the true meaning of the Christmas spirit by bringing in items for others in need. Anyone needing assistance can visit St. Andrew’s Church on the last Saturday of each month from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m. ...
The St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church hosted a Non-Food Pantry on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 1-3 p.m. In honor of Halloween, the event also provided special treats for children which came in bags decorated by the children from St. Andrew’s Sunday school.
